Complaints policy

Parents are welcome to raise concerns regarding the education and welfare of their children at any time. The Academy operates an open door policy where parents and carers may make appointments to see any teacher or the headteacher at mutually convenient times.

Normally in the first instance, any concern should be discussed with the class teacher or the person responsible for taking the lesson. If this initial meeting does not resolve the issue, an appointment to meet with the headteacher is the next course of action. 

If any issue is not resolved at this stage and the parent and/or carer feels it is appropriate to express the concern as a complaint in writing, the procedures outlined in our full Complaints Procedure (downloadable PDF below) will come into effect.
