Welcome from the Head Teacher

The aim at Discovery Primary school is to provide an outstanding education and care for our children. We work hard to involve families in all aspects of life within the school and are proud of our community work. We strive to create an atmosphere which encourages children to want to come to school and an environment which is exciting and stimulating. We are concerned with their feelings and how they get on with one another and with adults. We endeavour to give each child an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum as well as developing his or her confidence and independence enabling them to acquire control of their own learning and behaviour. Our website with its photos, children's work, Twitter and news updates should give you a picture of life at our school but do please come and see us at work and discover how your child could thrive here. Ms M Siequien, Head Teacher

Welcome from the Head Boy and Head Girl

Discovery Primary School is an amazing school. It has a happy and healthy environment with good teachers. Everyone makes you feel welcome and everyone is kind. We have a special friendship bench and we do lots of good things at the school. We have loads of educational trips to help us learn new things, and use a lot of ICT to help us learn. We also have an outdoor trim trail, a gym, and clubs like football and art club. As head boy and girl, we would like to help people be happy and to know that if they have any problems we are available for them to talk to. Oliver and Malaika
