Welcome from the Head Teacher
The aim at Discovery Primary school is to provide an outstanding education and care for our children. We work hard to involve families in all aspects of life within the school and are proud of our community work. We strive to create an atmosphere which encourages children to want to come to school and an environment which is exciting and stimulating. We are concerned with their feelings and how they get on with one another and with adults. We endeavour to give each child an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum as well as developing his or her confidence and independence enabling them to acquire control of their own learning and behaviour. Our website with its photos, children's work, Twitter and news updates should give you a picture of life at our school but do please come and see us at work and discover how your child could thrive here. Ms Siequien, Head Teacher
Welcome from the Head Boy and Head Girl
Discovery Primary School is a welcoming, happy and healthy environment. It’s a great school and I would never go to a different one. Everyone is friends with everybody else. I really like that everyone’s voice is heard. This school treats every one equally and is very multi-cultural. Everyone is welcomed when they start and make many friends. Nikola, Head Girl.
Discovery Primary School is a really fun and friendly school with good teachers. I have liked all of my teachers because they are nice and supportive. My favourite subject is maths, and I enjoy all the school trips we go on, especially when we visited Woburn Zoo and saw all the animals. I’m really happy I’m Head Boy at DPS, and would like to help out with the ICT in the school to make it even better! Julio, Head Boy
